 | Do you
deliver to my area?
We deliver to
the Mansfield, MA and surrounding areas. Please call to check if we can
deliver to your town. There may be an extra charge for deliveries outside
our normal area. |
 | Is a
deposit required to reserve your date?
To reserve your date, a $50 deposit is required up front. We accept cash,
checks, and Visa or MasterCard - just give us a call. Balance is due at the
time of delivery. Keep in mind, we reserve the right to keep your deposit if
you cancel within 48 hours of the intended rental date. |
 | How
long can I keep the Moonwalk or other rentals?
The standard
length of rental is approximately 6 hours. While we want you to enjoy
the unit for as long as possible, we try to get all our moonwalks down
before dark. Therefore, if your party is going on into the night, we may
have to come before the party is over to retrieve the unit. If you would like to reserve them for an
extended length of time we will work with you on a pro-rated basis provided
there are no overlapping reservations. Each reservation is given personal
attention and we will be as flexible as possible when working with you and
your schedule. NOTE: If bad weather is approaching, we may need to come
early to retrieve the unit. |
 | How
far in advance can I reserve my Moonwalk or other rental?
The earlier you
can make your reservation the better your chance at getting the date you
want. We appreciate as much advance notice as possible, but we will always
work with you even if it’s a last-minute request. |
 | How
much space is required for setup and proper use of the Moonwalk?
Each unit is 15'
x 15', so an area 20’ x 20’ is more
than enough space for the standard Moonwalk.
Any in ground
sprinkler systems should be shut off and not protruding.
Don't forget your vertical clearance! You'll need an area free of low wires
and branches, about 13-15 feet high. The Slip 'n Slide is 31 feet long and
we recommend at least 15-20 feet of running space to get the best results. |
 | Do I
need to provide anything or do anything special?
Bouncin’ For Fun
will provide and set up all necessary equipment, including extension cords.
The blower motor will need to be located within 75 feet of a standard
electrical outlet. (We can rent you a generator if no electrical outlet is
available.) An area that has been cleared of any debris or pet droppings
will keep the setup process quick and efficient. |
 | Where
can I have the Moonwalk setup?
A moonwalk can be
set up in many different places on your property. The surface must be mostly
flat and relatively firm - grass, concrete, asphalt, and smooth gravel are
all acceptable. We will anchor the unit either by driving stakes into the
ground or by using sandbags where stakes cannot be used. We cannot set the
bouncers up: near swimming pools, steep inclines, next to fences, trees or
rosebushes, or in very windy weather. Keep in mind that we use a tarp
underneath the moonwalk or slide and it may cause some browning of your
lawn. With proper watering, this should return to normal in a week or two. |
 | My
yard slopes a bit- will that be OK?
Yes. A slight slope is not a problem. Typically, we will place the entrance
of the unit at the top of any slope. If the slope is too steep, we may not
be able to set up in that location. Your installer may request an alternate
location so please have one in mind. The safety of the children is the most
important consideration when selecting a setup area. |
 |
How do they
stay inflated?
The bouncers stay inflated using an electric blower, which provides
continuous airflow and keeps the bouncer inflated. The blower runs
continuously and uses approximately .14 cents of electricity per hour. Your
blow dryer uses more than that! If there is a power failure, the bouncer
will begin to deflate, at which time the kids must calmly exit the bouncer.
Overloading a circuit or inadvertently unplugging the fan usually causes
power failures. |
 | How
safe are your Moonwalks?
All of our
Moonwalks are clean and well maintained. We disinfect before and after every
rental. It will be necessary for an adult to be in direct supervision of
jumpers at all times. By following basic rules all children will be safe and
have a great time. If you have a pool, please be sure children are dry
before entering the jump. If you need someone to stay with the unit to supervise
the jumpers, Bouncin’ For Fun can provide an attendant for an additional
cost. |
 | How
many jumpers can be in the Moonwalk at one time?
As a rough
average, there can be six to seven jumpers jumping together, but it really
depends on the size of the children. Each moonwalk has a chart showing
weight restrictions. What keeps the moonwalk the safest is to separate the
smaller kids from the bigger kids. |
 | What
is the Bouncin’ For Fun's policy on inclement weather?
We cannot set up
the unit if it's raining, drizzling or if winds are over 30 mph.
If rain is imminent, or approaching, we will use our
discretion as to whether it is safe to put up the moonwalk. Please keep in
mind, we want you to have a safe and happy experience. The blower
cannot be left out in the rain and...Wet vinyl is slippery and dangerous!
Once the unit is set up, we will be unable to provide any
reimbursement or refund for bad weather. If recent weather has caused
the ground to become muddy, you will need to find an alternate
location. If the weather is not cooperating on the day of your event
we will be happy to work with you to reschedule your reservation with no
cost or penalty. |
 | What
happens if I need to cancel or reschedule my reservation?
Simply give us a
call. If you need to reschedule your reservation we will work with you to
choose another day. We do request that you provide us with as much advance
notice as possible. The sooner we know about the need to reschedule the more
flexible we can be. |
 | What
should I expect on the day of the party? How does the process work?
We will deliver
and set up the unit at a prearranged time, which could be up to two hours
prior to your party. Before and during setup we will discuss placement
options for the unit, review the rental agreement, and go over any questions
regarding safety, proper use, and any other topic you wish to discuss. If
payment has not already been made, it will be due upon setup of the unit. We
will arrive to take down the unit at the prearranged time. We request that
you leave the unit inflated until we arrive, if possible, as we must clean
the unit before packing it up. |
 | Can I
use a Moonwalk at a park?
Absolutely. You
will need to reserve the area and get a permit if necessary. We can provide
a generator, if necessary, for an additional fee. |
